Dholera SIR Shall Be A GreenField Smarter City Dholera

Dholera smart city is the city of Dholera SIR, Gujarat.  The region encompasses 22 villages and shall be spread over 920 square kilometers. With a special focus from the government, it seems that the city shall emerge smarter than Davanegere.

Dholera SIR has received Rs. 3,000 crore while Davanegere shall be allotted Rs.100 crore as development fund by the central government, which shall affect the development pace likewise. Besides, the property valuation in Dholera is very cheap compared to Davanegere which makes the former a value proposition for investors.

Those investing in Dholera are likely to reap hefty returns on investments within short span of time due to the surge in economic opportunities in the region ever since it has been declared as India’s first smart city. Its nearness to the DMIC corridor makes it a proposed global trading and manufacturing hub which is attracting various manufacturing giants and multinationals to the region, thus accelerating development further.

The smart infrastructure of Dholera SIR is at nascent stage as opposed to that in Davanegere. This shall make it relatively easier for architects and developers to shape it as per smart city protocol. However with the existing infrastructure of Davanegere, designers and architects shall have a difficult time incorporating all the smart city elements within.

By all that is mentioned above and various other macro and micro economic factors, Dholera shall eventually emerge as the smartest city of India.
